Do You Struggle to Talk to Someone With Asperger's The Problem is Fussy Language

When I was a boy, girls jumping rope sang things like, "Skinny and fatty ran a race. Skinny fell down and broke his face." And, "Step on a crack. Break your mother's back." Now most of you know I have Asperger's. So can you guess how I interpreted these words?

surely, me being me, I took these words literally. Can you imagine? Laughing little eight year old girls singing, "break your mother's back!" Whoa! Was I confused. And try as I might, I could not, for the life of me, understand what would make them say such things. No less laugh while they said them.

Commodity Futures Trading Using Fuzzy Logic and Market Synchronization Clues, PART 2

There's nothing better than fuzzy logic for determining when a commodity market has begun a new trend and is starting to synchronize. Read on to find out exactly what this is all about...

Observation From Trading Notes:

"After an e-mini futures top forms over 1-2 days with big contracts and multiple tops, look for the last rally to labor up all day AFTER a sharp and fast down opening with poor A-D line. Key: It will spike or touch the 5 min chart channel one last time. This is the best place to short."

Commodity Futures Trading Using Fuzzy Logic and Market Synchronization Clues, PART 1

Observation From Trading Notes:

"After a big spike OUT of the 5-minute e-mini futures channel, don't expect a continuation after a correction MOST of the time. Odds favor a chop or even a correction to the bottom of major support. Look for a correction to the bottom of the 5-minute channel."

think clearly

I met a couple of folks who are part of a sports club last week in Delhi. They were in the middle of a Cricket tournament. When I asked them how it was going for them, they told me they weren't winning a lot. When I asked why, they said, "The squad is not motivated enough, we think."

Just now I happened to read a note from a scientist on 'Abstract Entities' - "Entities like Atoms or Enzymes. Has anybody ever seen an atom or enzyme? Has anybody talked to them or touched them? They probably do exist but we know it through logic and not through any direct information? so in difficult sciences when we are able to no longer use our senses we embark on to use abstract entities."

Noise pumps

Once the preserve of the wealthy family, dishwashers are now fairly commonplace in modern kitchens. As prices have come down, even so, consumer choice has risen significantly. There are now a huge number of affordable dishwashers on the market, so how best to choose the right model?

They all in essence do the same task so there's not really that a lot difference from one machine to the next, right? Wrong. There are a range of factors a clued up shopper will want to allow before committing to one particular dishwasher.

Debtor's payments fuzzy approach to planning

The financial aspect is essential to any kind of business. How a company receives funding and incomes determines its overall welfare. For any B2B company, among the major concerns is the control over the payments of the non-bank debtors, i.e. the payments resulting from sales of goods and/or services. Indeed, this inflow enables the company to assess its efficiency, playing the role of the factor underlying the company's profits. Having produced some goods or services, the company sells the ware, receiving money for the ware -- which becomes income. The company crucially requires this income to be able to buy some raw materials and equipment needed to create new portions of goods.

Fuzzy Logic Example Case

The following case show what the system computes as error decreases toward zero and then changes to a positive value. Pictures of the input and output membership functions are included. The rate-of-change of the error stays constant throughout the five cases. It is not likely that this would happen in a real system, but for purposes of this illustration, that case has been assumed. The values of error and error-dot indicated from the membership functions are plugged into the rulebase from the "KEY" below and the responses computed for each case. These responses are then mathematically combined to yield a crisp output.
