Let's get started
1. First, we need to install Fast Video Download Add-ons on Firefox. You can install it here:

Once you click on the "Add to firefox" button, You will need to click on "Install Now" button and the add-ons will be installed. You will get the FVD icon on your top right corner:
2. After installation complete, we need to install downThemAll add-ons to download file(s) faster. click on this address:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/201
Just like FVD, you will also need to install this add-ons. Click on "add to firefox" button and let this add-ons be installed
For every add-ons installed you will need to restart your firefox. Now you can download your favorite videos quicker by doing:
1. Visit the page where video is playing
For example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NC45iXtU3Hs
Once the video is playing, the FVD icon is flashing. Click on the icon, and choose the video format you wished. For example, on the above link, you will see this menu:
you can choose either mp4 or flv format. Choose your format and the download should begin.
2. but wait!, Pause the download!
Don't do direct download cause it will take a lot of time. right click on the file on download list, and click on "Copy Download Link" :
3. Next, go to Tools on your top left, click on "DownThemAll! Tools" and click "Manager":
You'll see this windows:
Click on the "Add URL(s)" button and paste it on the URL textbox and click "Start"
4. The download process should start, and you can right click and "add one more segment" to make the process faster
The FVD addons works by finding the video download source's URL. Meanwhile, the downthemall works by dividing file into a few tinier segment then downloading them all at the same time. While i'm trying this technique, i found that the conventional download should take approximately 1 hr to finish. On the other hand, this technique just only take 15 minutes to finish.
